Healing Stress Through Identity and Repair with Nima Rahmany

S3 E38 • Nov 5, 2026 • 36 mins

What if the tension and pain we carry are rooted in unresolved emotions and relationships? Nima Ramani and Roxanne Derhaj explore how identity beliefs can fuel burnout, reactivity, overgiving, and performing for worthiness. They discuss making the unconscious conscious, authentic self-expression, and the art of rupture and repair as paths toward healthier relationships and stronger leadership.

Key Points

  • Stress often shows up in the body as tension, pain, and other physical symptoms when unresolved emotions and relational strain are held for too long.
  • Healing begins by identifying the deeper identity beliefs behind burnout, reactivity, and the need to perform in order to feel worthy.
  • Strong leadership and healthier relationships grow when self-awareness, repair, and authentic self-expression replace control, codependency, and overgiving.

Dr Nima Rahmany

After working for more than 10 years helping people with musculoskeletal problems, I now am trained to "adjust" diet, movement, and now thoughts and perceptions on the stresses of life to help move physical and mental health back to balance-- particularly about anger, loss, depression, and low self esteem. Just by shifting your perception of a bad history, a traumatic event, or your current life circumstance-- you can alter how cranky, stressed, angry, weighed down and foggy you feel.
I'm obsessed with teaching people the most empowering versions of their stories to get them to feel more grateful and purposeful and move towards emotional and physical health.
Recently my passion is to spread this information to teens, who don't learn in school proper life skills to deal with their stresses.
