Key Points
- Career coaching can offer clarity, confidence, and communication skills to help individuals align their work life with their personal values and strengths.
- Understanding the different types of career coaching—exploration, job search tactics, and leadership coaching—can guide individuals to seek the right support for their career stage and goals.
- Authenticity in one's career involves continuous self-reflection and adjustment rather than striving for a static end-goal, allowing for a more fulfilling and adaptable professional journey.
How many times in your life have you said the phrase “I hate my job” or “I need a career change”? I think for many people it happens quite frequently. I also think that since the beginning of the pandemic, many people are recognizing what is most important to them and it’s created an environment that allows or even encourages career change. On this episode of Authentic Living with Roxanne, we welcome Career Strategist, Lindsay Gordon to share her expertise on how to decide when it’s time to leave or what you can do to improve your situation and learn to love your job again.
Lindsay is a career coach for analytically minded people who want to stop doing what they think is "right" in their career and start doing what's right for them. She helps people get clarity about what's right for them in a job and why, is confident about their skills and abilities, and is able to communicate that to interviewers, managers, and colleagues.

She loves applying her engineering brain to helping people find careers that fit, baking complicated pastries, and barbershop singing.
