Strategies for addressing potential transphobia on social media platforms are also considered, alongside the vital role of diversity in innovative businesses.

Key Points

  • Michelle emphasizes the need for companies to be proactive rather than reactive by having policies and procedures in place to support employees who are transitioning, and to educate their workforce on gender diversity and sensitivity.
  • The conversation underscores the importance of open communication and education within organizations to foster an inclusive environment where employees feel comfortable being their true selves, and how this can lead to increased talent attraction and overall company success.
